Social area

In order for a child to learn to live with his classmates, he must have ample opportunities to interact with other children in preschool. By meeting other children, the child gains experience in playing together and learns discipline. Children who have attended nursery and kindergarten for a long time tend to be well prepared for life in a playgroup. They play better in groups, lend each other toys, and are not afraid when addressed.

  • Observing the basic rules of social behaviour - respecting each other, greeting, addressing, asking, expressing approval and disapproval

  • Maintaining eye contact

  • Maintaining order - clean up toys

  • Independence, detachment from family

  • Fitting in with others

  • Partial management of emotions - not reacting by screaming and crying, carrying away an immediate unfulfilled wish

  • Recognition of authority
